FIJ Judicial Incidents File. We help you manage FIJ for your company!

FIJ Companies
What is FIJ companies?
The initials FIJ correspond to the File of Judicial Incidents, also known as the File of Judicial Incidents and Claims of Public Organizations. It is a delinquency file of the Informa D & B company and managed by Experian Badexcug that collects all the annotations published in any public medium, BOE, Provincial Official Gazettes, Social Security electronic headquarters, etc; whether they are lawsuits for non-payment, such as amount claims for non-payment of taxes, tributes
or monetary obligations of citizens with the State.
Companies and self-employed workers that often fail to comply with their obligations to the State or public bodies, not with intention but lost in a sea of bureaucracy, are often registered without this file without being aware. Having published it in a public medium, worth the redundancy, the affected person must be informed that their data has been published in the File of Judicial Incidents. No one, except a professional in the field, reads the official publication media every morning, so the affected person usually finds out when the request for financing is denied.
Another peculiarity of this delinquency file is that, in these official publication media, notifications are usually published, but not paid. In this way, the file never learns that the debt has been paid and the annotations pass 5 years, the legal term, damaging the affected company or self-employed.
For this type of problem and if you do not want to wait 5 years to be able to access financing or simply not be marked as delinquent while being registered in a delinquency file, you must always carry out the deletion exercise.
Who can check my data or those of my company in the FIJ?
The data registered in this list of defaulters, FIJ companies, can be consulted by any entity that needs it. Normally these lists of defaulters are used by entities to assess the risk involved in granting, for example, a loan to a self-employed person or company that requests it. If a company or self-employed person is listed in the FIJ, it is likely that they will have difficulties at the moment of facing the fees that a loan would entail.
The entities that usually consult this delinquency file are usually banks, financial entities, insurance companies, supply companies, telephone companies, in short, any company with which a commitment to a periodic payment is going to be acquired.
How long can my data or my company's data be in the FIJ?
The Law is very strict with regard to this matter and dictates that the data may remain in the delinquency file for a maximum of 5 years from the day after the payment should have been made. Although this does not usually happen, according to another delinquency file very
known ASNEF Equifax, the limitation period of these debts is 6 years from its publication. As you can see, the interpretation of this law by this file is somewhat ambiguous. That is why it is very common for debts to be registered in the FIJ 6 years from their publication when they should not.
How to get out of FIJ companies?
Although we have explained that not even the companies themselves agree on the interpretation of the Law. For a company that tries to eliminate its data from the File of Judicial Incidents without good legal advice it is little more than impossible.
Having the support of professionals specialized in this matter and with experience in the bureaucracy that this type of management entails, is essential.

A month later and paying of course for the service I had contracted, my name no longer appears in the Experian file (…). "
