Building blocks for your dream life

“Your dream life doesn’t just build on its own.”

How many times have you heard a slogan like this? Probably too much. But when you take a moment to consider this adage in the context of a year that has seemed very beyond our control, a little intentionally planned growth and change doesn’t seem like the worst thing in the world.

Building a life you love can start by prioritizing a few key areas: friends / family, food, exercise, and time spent outdoors. Vow of:

  • spend more time with loved ones (as much as you can) in a comfortable space;
  • cook healthy and delicious meals in a gourmet kitchen;
  • take care of your body by exercising regularly
  • spending time outdoors, a little sun always helps

Now take some time to think about how your current home reflects your lifestyle, maybe it’s time for a change? Below are a few examples of ways to intentionally create your space to help you build the life of your dreams.

More time together

Create inviting common living spaces, encouraging family and friends to come together! Bright rooms, comfortable spaces to relax, space for movies or games or to play. All of these things create a space that your loved ones want to come together.

Eat healthier

Creating a consistent habit of healthy eating can be difficult, find dishes that excite you, then cook them in a gourmet kitchen! Better yet, have a family member or friend cook with you or sit with you and chat while you cook. Time together and great food!

Consistent fitness routine

Going to the gym can seem like a chore (the actual workout and the commute to get there), take the anxiety out of it, and provide space in your home for the gym, yoga, and other exercise routines! Go even further and create storage spaces dedicated only to your training equipment. Getting up early for a walk or jog is easier when everything you need is in one easily accessible place!

Time outside

Walks, hikes, bike rides, etc. are a great way to enjoy the outdoors. But having your own outdoor space that you love will also entice you to spend a few extra minutes in the sun!

Build a home and a life you love

Your home should reflect all of your unique interests, preferences and goals, it should reflect the life you want to live! If your current space doesn’t allow you to do this, maybe it’s time to make some changes. Even small updates can make a big difference!
