The modulus of elasticity of lightweight aggregate concrete is directly proportional to its bulk density and strength. The smaller the bulk density and the lower the strength, the lower the modulus of elasticity. Compared to ordinary concrete of the same quality, the modulus of elasticity of lightweight aggregate concrete is approximately 25-65% lower.

It is mainly used for supporting elements, prestressed elements or structures.
